We stock 7C27MO2 Type 420 Stainless Steel.
It is a martensitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum that is characterized by good formability. After hardening the grade has very good corrosion resistance, high toughness and excellent fatigue strength.

We stock Uddeholm SS716 Type 420 Stainless Steel.
SS716 is a multi-purpose martensitic stainless steel grade designed for the medium and thinner range of various components where toughness and impact strength are essential. UHB Stainless 716 is also used at elevated working temperatures and/or in corrosive atmosphere. The 13% chromium steel is delivered in the hardened and tempered condition and has been proven to offer superior fatigue properties.

Applications:
Typical applications include fine cutlery, machine knives, surgical instruments, wear plates, springs, shavers, cutting tools, motor industry, and knives and blades for the food processing industries.
